A native of California, but raised in Britain and Canada, Stephen Thomas found his inspiration and passion for music in England where folk influences melded with British Beat rock. He broadened his scope as he toured Europe.
As a teen in Montreal area rock bands, he penned his first melodies and great riffs. While living in New York City in the 1980s, he performed in the same folk clubs as legends like Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel.
Taking up residence in Ottawa in the 1990s, Stephen drew on all his influences to create ballads, anthem rock, folk and world beats.
Working solo and with his band, Stephen is carving out an indelible mark in music.
